MOACAC Regional College Fairs Cancellation Policy
The fair schedule including school participation/student attendance, length of fairs, and logistics for the in-person college fairs for Fall 2021 is up to date as we know it now. But, due to the ever-evolving COVID situation, the details can, and likely will, change. Given the unusual and unpredictable circumstances of the pandemic, it is impossible to know the full impact COVID will have. The schedule will be monitored regularly, and any changes or cancellations will be posted as soon as we receive them. In addition, individual fair hosts will be encouraged to inform registrants directly of changes to their programs. Provided the in-person Regional College Fair is held, refunds will not be issued even if some of the details have changed. Should any Regional College Fair be cancelled, registrants will be notified as soon as possible and refunds will be issued. We ask that college representatives take these factors into consideration when deciding which fairs to attend, and be aware that alterations and cancellations may occur.
September fairs will close on Friday, September 10th at 5 p.m. (or until capacity is reached). October fairs will close on Friday, October 1st (or until capacity is reached). For MOACAC Regional College Fairs, walk-ins, exceptions, or late registrations will not be allowed.
College Fair Student Scanning
Electronic student scanning will be available at all MOACAC Regional College Fairs (and most fairs throughout Missouri) using the StriveScan app.
Students:
Go towww.strivefair.com to register for a barcode. It's free and will save you time. The day after the fair, you will receive a report with information about each college with whom you scanned.
Counselors:
Encourage your students to register for a barcode before they attend the fair at www.strivefair.com. Download and print StriveScan's handout for students
Colleges:
StriveScan is included with your registration fee for all MOACAC Regional College Fairs.StriveScan credits do not need to be purchased for these events. After you register, you will receive instructions and an unlock code to activate scanning at these fairs. Student data can be exported instantly. Fair organizers are working hard to get all students registered with a barcode.
